About Susan

Picture of Susan Bloye

As a lifelong artist with a yearning to help others experience the wholeness that comes with a connection to creativity, Susan initially became an art teacher while continuing to develop her own skills and mastery as an artist.  When she discovered the power of Chi Kung and Tai Chi as a source of grounding in her own life she also became a committed practitioner and teacher of these arts.  She is a passionate gardener and plant lover residing in rural Washtenaw County where she enjoys living and working with nature, spending many hours in her gardens.

Her formal training includes a BFA from University of Michigan Stamps School of Art and Design and M. Ed. from Wayne State University in Art Education.  She also has studied Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, Polarity Therapy and the vitalistic remedies since 1990.  She is certified as a Registered Craniosacral Therapist by the Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy Association and holds a certificate in homeopathy from Homeopathic Educational Services.

For the last 20 years Susan has been raising her children, teaching Tai Chi and watercolor painting through Washtenaw Community College, and studying meditation and Craniosacral Therapy.  She seeks to express the dynamic found in the energetic world through her artwork and to encourage others to find wholeness through their own energetic, creative process.

Susan can be reached at or by calling 734-222-5310.
