About Susan

Picture of Susan Bloye

As a lifelong artist with a yearning to help others experience the wholeness that comes with a connection to creativity, Susan initially became an art teacher while continuing to develop her own skills and mastery as an artist.  When she discovered the power of Chi Kung and Tai Chi as a source of grounding in her own life she also became a committed practitioner and teacher of these arts.  She is a passionate gardener and plant lover residing in the Chain of Lakes region near Traverse City in northern Michigan where she enjoys living and working with nature.

Her formal training includes a BFA from the University of Michigan Stamps School of Art and Design and M. Ed. from Wayne State University in Art Education.  She also has studied Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, Polarity Therapy and other natural healing modalities since 1990.

For the previous 25 years Susan has been raising her children, teaching Tai Chi and watercolor painting through Washtenaw Community College, while studying meditation and Craniosacral Therapy. Susan is a recent transplant to northern Michigan where she is able to dedicate herself to creating artwork. In her teaching she encourages others to find wholeness through their own energetic, creative process. In her artwork, she seeks to express the dynamic energetic flow found in the natural world.

Susan can be reached at susan@sacredstructure.com or by calling 231-322-2159.
